Detailed Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Dar es Salaam Tanzania.
- Arrive Dar es Salaam International Airport, meet and greet and transfer to a hotel in town for the rest of the day at leisure before overnight, hotel booked on half board basis, HB.
Day 2: DAR ES SALAAM CITY TOURS.
Breakfast at your hotel, explore the city of Dar es Salaam. Over the last century Dar es Salaam has grown from a fishing village into one of the outstanding coastal capital of the world. The beaches are amazing and pristine with an African character. Story of the City of Dar es Salaam which simply means "Haven of Peace" starts from 1850s, when the Sultan of Zanzibar decided to move his port and trading center from Bagamoyo to Dar es Salaam.
The strategy behind the move was due to steam ship services. The German High Commissioner's office was moved from Bagamoyo to Dar es Salaam in 1891, and in 1902 a floating dock was inaugurated. Later, a central railway to Lake Tanganyika was constructed to improve the port.
You can start your day by seeing the attractions of Dar es Salaam main attractions from Askari Monument, Mnazi-Moja Park, Mwenge traditional wooden carvings market, famous Tinga-Tinga painters Centre, State House, National Museum and Fish Markets among the few.

Day 3: Dar es Salaam – Bagamoyo historical City
Morning At 07:00hrs, depart From Dar Es Salaam City Center to Bagamoyo. Arrive and visits The Kaole Ruins, Ruins of the Shirazi Trade Town (13th– 17th Century). Then Visit The Crocodile Farm, Where Crocodiles Are Kept Before Being Shipped Aboard. Lunch at a good restaurant in Bagamoyo. After Lunch, Visit the Historical Sites including The Caravan Serai, An Old Terminus Of The Caravans Coming From The Interior To The Shore Of The Indian Ocean; The Catholic Church, Started In 1868 With The Livingstone Power Where Livingstone Rested For One Night Before His Body Was Shipped To Zanzibar; Cemeteries With 47 Tombs Of Early Missionaries; German Building Such As Old Boma And The Customs House.

Day 4: Bagamoyo – Saadani National Park.
At 0830hrs after breakfast in Bagamoyo, Visit of the Bagamoyo School of Arts for Ngoma (Traditional Dance).
Lunch is included, later after lunch, drive to Saadani National Park where bush meets the bush, you will arrive in the early afternoon, check in at lodge/hotel/camp. At 1400hrs commence an afternoon game drives in the park to look for elephant, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, waterback, lion, leopard, baboon and many more others. You will have dinner & Overnight at Saadani Safari lodge or similar booked on full board basis, FB
Day 5: Full day tour of Saadani National Park.
In the morning at 0800hrs after breakfast, commence a morning and an afternoon game viewing in the park, as the park is not very large, you can return to the lodge for hot lunch or still you can take with you picnic lunch for a day long in the wilderness to see lot of animals. Later evening as the Sun goes down, spend time at the Saadani beach, feeling such an amazing experience, deleting unwanted issues from your heart/mind and download a new app of better life in your heart, return for dinner experience and overnight at your lodge booked on full board arrangements, FB (breakfast + Lunch + dinner)
Day 6: Boat Safari OR Walking in the Reserve - Pangani.
Morning at 0800hrs after breakfast go for a boat excursion at the Wami River, which offers the best boat safari in Tanzania to see the flocks of flamingo birds, hippos, crocs and other water birds. OR commence a guides walking tour in the wilderness with an armed ranger guide. Return to the lodge for early lunch, at 1300hrs leave the park and travel approximately two hours to Pangani Coast.
Pangani is a small town in East Africa’s coast that was 45 kms South of Tanga at the mouth of Pangani River that collects its water from Mt Kilimanjaro and Mt. Meru to the Indian Ocean. With the long history, Pangani has Arabic, German, Asian and British Colonial rules influence. This is a place where Swahili, Arab, colonial traditions and modern hospitality blends together.
Here you will enjoy coastline with clean beaches where endangered Green Turtles breeds, rich in historic sites, coral reefs, Old Port as well as great diversity of tropical marine dwellers. You will stay overnight at Emayani Beach lodge booked on full board basis, FB.
Day 7: Pangani Coast – Lushoto (Usambara Mountains).
You will be picked up from your hotel in Pangani at 10:00am after breakfast, and drive to Lushoto with a stop at Mombo just to see a bit of it. Many country Coach Buses from the Regions heading to Dar es Salaam, Kilimanjaro/Moshi and Arusha make a stop at Mombo for lunch, it is an active small Town for local retailers. Drive further up hills to Lushoto, the leafy highland town nestled in a fertile valley at about 1200m, surrounded by pines and eucalyptus mixed with banana plants and other tropical foliage. It’s the centre of the western Usambaras and makes an ideal base for hikes into the surrounding hills. On the road enjoy the view and get to see real traditional African villages and the locals going about their business. You shall have your lunch at 1:00 pm upon your arrival and at 2:00 pm go for a hike to Irente Viewpoint for spectacular views of Mazinde village and the Maasai plains almost 1,000 meters below. Explore the panoramic views until evening when you shall have your dinner at 7:30 pm then overnight at Irente View Lodge in Lushoto booked on full board basis, FB.
Day 8: Full day in Lushoto/Usambara.
Your breakfast shall be at 7:00 am, and at 8:00 am visit coffee plantations and the pristine Mazumbai forest which is a great place for bird watchers, anthropologists and botanists as it is also known as botanical Mazumbai garden Go for a short hike here and search for a huge tree, wildflowers and a black and white Colobus monkey. You shall enjoy a picnic lunch in the forest; go for more walking until evening when you shall return to Lushoto for dinner which shall be served at 7:30 pm, then overnight at Irente View Lodge in Lushoto
Day 9: Lushoto – Mkomazi National Park.
Have breakfast in your hotel, at 0830hrs depart approximately for Mkomazi National Park located in north eastern Tanzania on the Kenyan border, in Kilimanjaro Region and Tanga Region. It was es-tablished as a game reserve in 1951 and upgraded to be a national park in 2006.The park covers over 3,200 km2 and is dominated by Acacia-Commiphora vegetation; it is contiguous with Kenya’s Tsavo West National Park.
The area commonly called ‘Mkomazi’ is actually the union of two previous game reserves, the Um-ba Game Reserve in the east (in Lushoto District, Tanga Region) and the Mkomazi Game Reserve in the west (in Same District, Kilimanjaro Region); in government documents they are sometimes called the Mkomazi/Umba Game Reserves. Of the two, Mkomazi is larger, and has more diversity of relief and habitat, and a longer shared border with Tsavo West National Park. In the rest of this en-try ‘Mkomazi’ will refer to both the Mkomazi and Umba reserves together. You will have dinner and overnight at

Day 10: Mkomazi park full day game drives.
In the morning after breakfast, enjoy a morning and an afternoon game drives, expect to see giraffe’s, antelopes, Zebras, and if lucky lions and elephants and many more. Although a visit to mkomazi Rhino Sanctuary can also be organized but on extra charges as it is a private sanctuary for the rhino projects so visitors can visit in contributions of the mkomazi rhino project proceed with game drive till very late in the evening start before the drive takes you back to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 11: Mkomazi - Aishi Machame (foot of mt, Kilimanjaro)
Breakfast at your camp Babus, at 0800hrs depart to the foot hills of Mount Kilimanjaro and arrive at Machame village in the late morning. All the way from Mkomazi there is great possibility to see the cape of Mount Kilimanjaro. Chek in at Aishi Machame hotel and spend the rest of the morning and early afternoon at leisure. At 1500hrs head to Nkweseko village, guided walk will take you in a reception area with collection of various cultural art facts and old tools used by Chagga people. The tour will proceed to bee-keeping site then to the farm where coffee is produced. A walking in the farm will give you an insight to coffee history and its production in the field, test the aroma coffee. This tour will proceed to the hiding caves and the waterfalls before going back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 12: Kilimanjaro – Arusha National Park
In the very day, there is a great chance to see the iCE cape of Mount Kilimanjaro, then seat for breakfast, at 0900hrs depart for Arusha National Park with picnic lunch boxes for a morning and afternoon game drives to look for elephants, buffalos, zebra, gnu, baboons, black and white colobus monkey and more… …
Arusha National Park, often overlooked, is in fact a treasure, a rich tapestry of habitats, teeming with animals and birds. From the lush swamps of the Ngurdoto Crater to the tranquil beauty of the Momela Lakes and the rock alpine heights of Mt Meru, the terrain of the park is as varied as it is interesting.
Optional walking safari of about two to three hours with a ranger (or less depending on the weather) can be arranged at extra cost. At a nice spot we will stop for a picnic lunch. At the end of the afternoon we will drive to Arusha town for dinner and overnight at Kibo Palace hotel.
Day 13: Arusha - to - Tarangire National Park.
- Breakfast at your lodge, at 0730hrs depart with picnic lunched for Tarangire National Park and spend the day in the park enjoying game viewing. After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drives in the park. Expect to see animals such as Lion, herds of Zebra, Buffalo, Giraffe, Baboon, hyena, eland, kudu, Cheetah, warthog, Blue and Vervet monkey. The Tarangire Park is featured by Huge Baobab Trees and Herds of Elephants. About 450 species of birds have been recorded. Later at 1600hrs drive to Tarangire Safari lodge for dinner and overnight, booked on full board basis, FB.
Day 14: Full day Tarangire National Park.
Breakfast at your tented camp, this day is dedicated to game viewing in the Tarangire National Park for full day game drives. Packed lunch will be collected from the camp. You will spend the night at the same camp/lodge booked on full board basis, FB.
Day 15: Tarangire - to – Serengeti National Park:
Breakfast at your lodge, at 0730hrs depart for Serengeti National Park across the cliff of Western Wing Riftvalley and Ngorongoro Conservation. Picnic lunch will be served at around 1200hrs at Naabi gate. After lunch drive to the central of the park while spotting game enroute, you will stay overnight at Serengeti Serena lodge.
The Serengeti is probably the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world. Within its 15,000sq km area it hosts 3 million large mammals. More than 35 species of plain animals- zebra, wildebeest, eland, giraffe, and others are found here. And so for the big five: elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and rhino. The park is the staging zone for one the most spectacular events in the natural world- the annual migration of wildebeest. This commences around June when over 1 million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle head for the Maasai Mara in Kenya in search of pasture. They are followed closely by the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures. The Serengeti also has over 500 species of birds. You will have dinner and overnight at lodge booked on full board basis, FB.
Day 16 & 17: Game drives in Serengeti National Park:
Serengeti is a BIG game heaven, at 0700hrs you dedicate these two days to Serengeti and take a morning and an afternoon game drive. You will have all meals and overnight in Serengeti at lodge/camp, booked on full board basis, FB
Day 18: Serengeti - Full day Ngorongoro Crater tour. .
After your early breakfast, at 0630hrs drive to Ngorongoro Crater Rim and descend for a full day tour of the crater. The drive commences with the 600 m descent to the crater floor, a magnificent natural amphitheater. Covering 260 sq. km, the crater is an attraction in its own right and is one of the wonders of the natural world. The crater supports a year round resident population of a variety of wildlife. You will have no trouble spotting the BIG FIVE lion, leopard, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and many other species of plain animals- wildebeest, zebra, reedbuck, Thompson gazelle and many more. You will have picnic lunch in the Crater, at 1530hrs ascend the Crater to lodge for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena lodge, booked on full board basis, FB.
Day 19: Ngorongoro – Zanzibar Stone Town.
At 0945hrs after breakfast, drive to Arusha for lunch, at 1300hrs transfer to Arusha airport for a scheduled flight departs at 1400hrs and arrive into Zanzibar Island at 11520hrs where you will be met by our staff at the airport transfer to Stone Town and check in at Zanzibar Serena Inn. The rest of the day relax at leisure by the Swimming pool, you will have dinner and overnight booked on bed and breakfast basis, BB
Day 20: Zanzibar Island Stone Town Tour – North Coast .
At 0900hrs after breakfast, depart for OLD Town of Stone Town walking tour, visit the Old Fort, the oldest structure in Stone Town built between 1698 and 1701, visit the House of Wonders, the most elegant building in Stone Town, Built in 1883, visit the Old Customs House, visit Darajani Market, visit Anglican Cathedral Church of Christ, Built between 1873 and 1883 by the Universities' Mission in Central Africa (UMCA) under the auspices of Edward Steere, third bishop of Zanzibar (1874-82), visit Beit el Amani Memorial Museum, visit slave market to mention the few, and lastly visit Forodhani Gardens on the seafront and was laid out in 1936 to mark the silver jubilee of Sultan Khalifa. Later evening transfer to North Coast of the Island for dinner and overnight at Smile Beach resort, booked on all inclusive, AL.
