Itinerary

Day 1: Kisumu – Kakamega forest.

Pick up from hotel and drive west of Kisumu to Kakamega forest and the crying stone.
Kakamega Forest is a tropical rainforest situated in the Kakamega and Kisumu Counties of Kenya, northwest of the capital Nairobi, and near to the border with Uganda. It is Kenya's only tropical rainforest and is said to be Kenya's last remnant of the ancient Guineo-Congolian rainforest that once spanned the continent.

Day 2: Kisumu

After breakfast at 0800 hrs. Check out from hotel. Spend the whole day in Kisumu visiting Kit Mikayi, Kisumu National Museum and Dunga Beach. Thereafter drive to cold spring hotel in Homabay for dinner and overnight stay. (Optional boat ride at a cost)

Day 3 Homabay - Masai Mara
0730Hrs, after breakfast, you will depart to Masai Mara to arrive in Base Camp in time for lunch. You will proceed with an evening game drive from 1600hrs until sunset en route to your overnight lodge.

Day 4: Full Day Masai Mara Game Reserve
You will explore the Mara with a morning game drive and an afternoon game drive at 1600hrs. All meals at the lodge with leisure time between the game drives. Optional extra cost activities include a visit to the Masai Boma for their culture, an early morning balloon flight than ends with a champagne breakfast on landing and or a night game drive.
